Ex-prostitute Dawn is trying to clean up her act and prove to social services she's capable of looking after her young son who has been taken into care. And given her part in her demise, Harriet's determined to help her come good. But when she starts work at the Sharmas' sweet factory, the former drug addict has gone cold turkey.
As work begins, Dawn (Olivia Bromley) is gripped by the horrible effects of drug withdrawal and struggles to complete the tasks in hand.
Kerry has been assigned as her mentor. Having experienced similar problems as the troubled young mum, will Kerry (Laura Norton) prove to be a friend or foe?
