Emmerdale spoilers: Jacob Gallagher is horrified to see his older lover Maya Stepney arrested

Jacob Gallagher turns up to meet his lover Maya Stepney as planned but is horrified to see her being arrested by the police!

Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Platt) is appalled when he turns up at the cricket pavilion to meet his older lover Maya Stepney only to see her being bundled into the back of a police car.

The teen and Maya (Louisa Clein) had been planning their getaway and Jacob was coming to meet her at their arranged spot with the cash and her passport as instructed.

However he’s horrified to arrive at the scene and find Maya surrounded by cops thanks to his dad, David Metcalfe’s tip off.

As a distressed Jacob watches helplessly, shouting after her, teacher Maya, who has groomed the young lad for the past year is taken away for questioning.

Reeling Jacob struggles to take in what is going on while his concerned dad can’t help feeling bad about adding to his hurt and pain even though he knows in his heart he has done the right thing in getting Maya arrested.

How will a besotted Jacob cope now that Maya has been taken away and how will he react when he realises it was his own dad, David who tipped off the cops?

Elsewhere Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) is thrown when David also discovers that Aaron’s sister Liv , knew all about the affair between Jacob and Maya and had been blackmailing them.

Plus Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) feels bad about how she’s treated Ryan Stocks (James Moore) and her betrayal of Harriet and tries to make it up to Ryan as she apologises for everything that’s happened.
