The moment Marlon Dingle has long been waiting for arrives as Jessie comes round to his for a date. The chef (Mark Charnock) has been desperate to get closer to the teacher and is wracked with nerves. Marlon manages to keep it together and it's Jessie who loses it when she spies photos of Marlon's exes dotted about his home.
There's trouble in love elsewhere in the village, too. David and Maya get ever closer as they bond over their marriages which have completely collapsed. Will the pair prove to be more than just each other's shoulders to cry on?
