Matty Barton battles with nerves as he waits to go into the operating theatre. Will the surgery be a success?
It’s the day of Matty Barton’s (Ash Palmisciano) operation and he struggles to hide his nerves as he waits, worrying about everything that could go wrong.
After he’s been wheeled into the operating theatre, his furious mum Moira (Natalie J Robb) lashes out at Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) and blames her for any complications that may arise.
Later on an upset Moira cracks and reveals the root of all her anxiety and distress for Matty stems from her daughter Holly’s tragic death. Victoria listens as Moira pours her heart out and is on hand to comfort her. However the peace is suddenly shattered when a nurse is seen running towards the operating theatre. Has something gone wrong with Matty’s surgery?
Elsewhere Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) is tired of having to pretend that she and Dan (Liam Fox) are still a united couple. Is it time to stop the charade?
Plus a jealous Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) vents all her pent up irritations at a shocked Aiesha Jutla (Shila Iqbal).
