Megan knocks Pollard over in Emmerdale

Megan Macey causes a car smash which hospitalises pedestrian Eric Pollard when she sends a text while she's driving

Megan's got a 'date' with Frank but the busy mum is running late. As she sets off in the car with her daughter Eliza, Megan (Gaynor Faye) fires off a text to Frank to warn him they're going to be delayed.

But when Megan takes her eye off the road to send the message, she punts into the car in front, which in turn runs into passerby Pollard (Chris Chittell)!

Megan and Eliza are OK and, at first, Pollard is too. As the shock and panic set in, Megan can't believe the damage she's caused. Of course, it means lunch just isn't happening leaving Frank (Michael Praed) wondering where she's got to.

Meanwhile, over at The Woolie, Faith (Sally Dexter) has no idea Pollard's been hurt and is moaning about her man to Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Bear (Joshua Richards) who's only too happy to listen. Will Faith respond when Paddy's lady-loving dad moves in for a kiss?
