Emmerdale's sweet factory is in the brink of going under according to owner Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel), who stuns his kids Jai (Chris Bisson) and Priya (Fiona Wade) with the shocking news.
With so many livelihoods at stake, let alone the business which has been running for years, Rishi needs to do something!
But is reaching out to loaded, ruthless land-owner Kim Tate (Claire King) the right move? Rishi clearly knows it's probably not the best idea as he sneaks out to meet with Kim who jumps at the chance to snaffle more clout in Emmerdale and tells worried Rishi she'll email him her loan terms pronto…
