Ant Middleton doesn’t make life easy for himself. After following in the footsteps of Captain William Bligh for Mutiny earlier this year, the ex-Special Forces soldier is now leading a team of five engineers in a new five-part series as they attempt to build an escape vehicle after a simulated plane crash.

In a remote desert, the two men and three women – an aerobatic pilot, a traditional craftsman, an aerospace engineer and two mechanical engineers – must use whatever they can find to make the vehicle.

It’s up to Ant to use his leadership and survival skills to keep them motivated and well enough to engineer their way out of the disaster.
