It's biscuit week as the appointment-to-view baking challenge continues to sift the pretty OK from the obviously excellent
Snap, crumble or crunch, in The Great British Bake Off this week, it’s time for biscuit week!
We’re really enjoying the slightly simpler challenges this year (after all, it’s reassuring when you actually recognise what the bakers are trying to create!) and tonight we’re kicking off with decorated chocolate biscuit bars.
Easy enough to have a go at in your own kitchen, but tough to impress Paul and Prue with.
This week’s technical is a divisive classic biscuit, and the showstopper has real wow-factor as the judges ask for a 3D biscuit sculpture.
It turns out that a lot of our bakers are animal lovers, so prepare for absolutely wonderful biscuity incarnations of sheep, chickens, tortoises, cats and even a Highland Cow!
