Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing has a huge claim to baking fame – his great-great- grandfather invented the digestive biscuit!

Unfortunately, it turns out baking ability isn’t passed on in the genes, and Jamie proves to be more disaster chef than master chef, screaming ‘it can’t be this hard!’ within the first 10 minutes.

Jamie’s competition tonight is singer Ella Eyre, politician Ruth Davidson and Matilda composer Tim Minchin.

Together they must tackle a loaf cake, a tricksy technical and a breathtaking final showstopper – a celebratory tower of meringue.

Who will be responsible for what Paul calls ‘the worst cake that’s ever been baked in the tent’?
