Cleo McQueen demands to know why her boyfriend Mitchell Deveraux has been acting so strangely around Scott Drinkwell. Will he come clean?
Cleo McQueen wants answers and she wants them right now in Hollyoaks! Cleo (Nadine Mulkerrin) whose relationship with junior doctor Mitchell Deveraux (Imran Adams) has recently hit the buffers, demands to know why Mitchell treated Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams) so appallingly when his grandfather Walter threw Scott out of a family meal.
Homophobic Walter was seen kicking Scott out after noticing a spark between Scott and his grandson, Mitchell.
Rather than stick up for Scott, Mitchell sided with his grandfather and now Cleo wants to know why.
Cleo, who has recently embarked on a training course at University to become a nurse, has no idea that Mitchell and Scott recently kissed and that the pair have developed strong feelings for each other.
A conflicted Mitchell, has been in turmoil ever since the kiss and is in denial about his true feelings for Scott. When Cleo puts him on the spot, Mitchell lies to her and tells her that Scott made a pass at him. However Scott overhears the conversation and decides he urgently needs to have his own heart-to-heart with Mitchell about the situation.
Meanwhile grumpy grandpa, Walter (Trevor A Toussaint) is offloading to his daughter Martine (Kelle Bryan) and tells Martine she’s in no position to criticise Mitchell’s upbringing after what she did. What big secret is Martine hiding from her past?
Elsewhere, Ollie Morgan (Aedan Duckworth) is still annoyed with his girlfriend Brooke Hathaway (Talia Grant) when she bailed out of a family gathering at the last minute.
He can’t help noticing that Brooke is deliberately avoiding him but has no idea she’s in turmoil after discovering she’s pregnant with his baby!
But is meddling Juliet Quinn (Niamh Blackshaw) about to wheedle the truth out of Brooke? When Juliet suggests that Brooke sends Ollie some sexy pictures of herself to cheer him up, Brooke doesn’t want to show her mid-riff.
Juliet teases her for being coy and jokingly asks her friend if she’s pregnant but is stunned when Brooke doesn’t deny it!
Plus, Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) returns from Spain where she’s been visiting her mum, Myra, but her husband Sylver (David Tag) is perturbed when she continues to be cagey with him.
Later on Sylver is rocked when he overhears a conversation between Lisa Loveday (Rachel Adedeji) and Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) as the pair of them discuss Grace Black’s hit and run accident. What has Sylver just discovered?
