Courtney Campbell returns to the village and one person who's very pleased to see her is Jesse Donovan

Courtney Campbell (Amy Conachan) returns to Hollyoaks and one person who is overjoyed to see her is Jesse Donovan (Luke Jerdy).

The couple who have shared a tangled past, seem pleased be re-united. Can they get their relationship back on track? And how will Courtney react when she learns what a state Jesse’s brother, Liam (Jude Monk-McGowan), is currently in?

Elsewhere, following her recent health worries and sudden collapse, Damon Kinsella (Jacob Roberts) is worried about his girlfriend Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) who has been in hospital having tests.

Maxine reassures him that she’s fine. Later Yazz Maalik (Haiesha Mistry) is doing a vlog report with Brody (Adam Woodward) and Damon when Brody reveals the plans for him and Damon to move to America one day.

Maxine is listening in and is absolutely gutted that Damon is intending to upsticks to the other side of the Atlantic.

Later on Damon reassures Maxine that his dream plan with Brody doesn’t mean the end of their relationship, he still wants to be with her, but an upset Maxine remains unconvinced.

Meanwhile Liberty Savage (Abi Phillips)  is worried when she later catches Maxine looking faint and disorientated. She tells Maxine she’s concerned but Maxine begs her not to say anything to Damon, she doesn’t want him to know about her latest funny turn. What exactly is wrong with Maxine?
