Following their terrifying car smash, Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) and Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) slowly regain consciousness. The pair veered off the road and lost control of the car they’d temporarily nicked from Harry, after having an argument.

A scared and panicked Mercedes is convinced she heard a bang and is certain they hit someone during the collision. Is she right?

Liam gets out of the car to check and is worried to see a shoe lying by the side of the road, but quick to get rid of any evidence, he kicks it out of sight. Who does the shoe belong to and are they fighting for their life or even worse, already dead?

Meanwhile Harry Thompson (Parry Glasspool) is worried to see the car that James Nightingale gave him as a gift, is missing. He thought that Romeo Quinn had borrowed it but when Romeo denies all knowledge, he realises that someone else has stolen it! He quickly reports it missing to the police but will they be able to track it down?

Plus Mercedes is feeling terrible about her recent behaviour and implores Breda to help her make changes for the better. Can Breda help Mercedes to stay on the straight and narrow and be a better parent to her long-suffering kids?
