Hollyoaks spoilers: Diane Hutchinson takes drastic action to try and help Lily

Diane Hutchinson is so worried about her niece Lily's self-harming that she decides desperate measures are called for

Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher) is devastated that Lily (Lauren McQueen) has been self-harming again and feels powerless in her attempts to help her troubled niece.

She decides to take drastic measures and removes the bathroom door so that Lily is no longer able to hide herself away and self-harm. However when Lily sees what she’s done things get even worse. Have Diane’s desperate tactics just plunged Lily into yet more turmoil?

Meanwhile, Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn) and Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) return home following Mandy’s recent operation to perform surgery on her unborn baby who has spina bifida. Darren is in bits following all the emotional stress and it’s a waiting game to see if the op has been successful but how is Mandy holding up?

Elsewhere Juliet Quinn (Niamh Blackshaw) agrees to go out for a meal with Mac Nightingale (David Easter) when he gives her money so she can go and buy herself a nice outfit. However it’s clear Juliet has got no intention of spending any time with Mac.

She takes his cash but when she learns that Darren and Mandy are back at home she decides to pay her crush, Darren, a visit instead!
