Hollyoaks spoilers: Goldie McQueen takes drastic action with her mum Breda

Goldie and Breda McQueen

Goldie McQueen decides her mum needs urgent help and comes to a big decision. What has Goldie got in mind?

Goldie McQueen (Chelsee Healey) confronts her mum Breda (Moya Brady) in tonight’s episode of Hollyoaks on at 6.30pm (See our TV Guide for full listings).

Yesterday, secret serial killer Breda tried to explain away her constant visits to her pig farm, by pretending that she’d put it on the market and was expecting potential buyers from the estate agency to turn up for viewings.

However, when Goldie rang the agency she discovered that wasn’t the case at all and the farm wasn’t even up for sale!

As Goldie's suspicions about her mum’s erratic behaviour escalate, she asks Breda to explain exactly what’s going on. A flustered Breda, who has been keeping Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) prisoner at the deserted farm, tells Goldie the estate agent is lying and the farm IS on the market but Goldie’s not convinced at all.

Worrying that her mum is not only behaving strangely but is becoming very forgetful, she decides to book her an appointment with a psychiatrist. Will killer Breda agree to go along and be assessed by a professional?

Joe McGann as Edward Hutchinson in Hollyoaks

Edward Hutchinson (played by Joe McGann) turned up unexpectedly in the village

Elsewhere, Tony’s dad Edward Hutchinson (Joe McGann) turned up in Chester unexpectedly yesterday but Tony’s wife Diane (Alex Fletcher) who was busy arranging Harry’s funeral, sent him packing. However Edward is not going to be dissuaded and turns up again at the Hutchinson’s house where he explains to Diane he just wants to help her in Tony’s absence and begs her to give him a chance.

When Edward turns up at The Dog, where Marnie Nightingale (Lysette Anthony) and Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) are both helping with funeral arrangements, he makes an instant impression on the two women who are both a little bit smitten with the charismatic stranger!

Will Edward be sticking around Chester for the foreseeable future?

Hollyoaks is shown weekdays on C4 at 6.30pm with the next episode following on E4
