Hollyoaks spoilers: KILLER REVENGE! Mercedes McQueen is SHOT!

Following the dramatic events of yesterday in which Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) was exposed in Hollyoaks as the culprit for the hit and run accident, everyone is convinced she also killed Harry Thompson to keep him quiet.
In tonight’s episode of on at 6.30pm (See our TV Guide for full listings) Mercedes is SHOT!
With half the village including James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan), Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher), Grace Black (Tamara Wall), her ex-lover Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) and even her own husband Sylver (David Tag) all wanting revenge on Mercedes, who has pulled the trigger?
The drama begins when a seemingly remorseless Mercedes saunters into The Dog and starts verbally attacking James, Grace, Joel, Nana, Diane and Goldie before taking a bottle of champagne from behind the bar and heading off to The Loft to see her partner in crime, Liam.
James Nightingale, who has previously found himself chief suspect for Harry’s murder, is hell-bent on revenge and tells his worried family, Marnie, Juliet and Romeo, that he wants Mercedes dead for what she has done to Harry.
Meanwhile Liam and his sister Grace also decide that Mercedes needs to die for everything that she has done and the way she has betrayed them both.
However, there seems to be no stopping Mercedes when she arrives at The Loft and immediately raids Liam’s safe which is full of drugs, money and a gun!
Mercedes then hits the dance floor, seemingly without a care in the world but as she brazenly parties, her new bitter enemies James, Joel, Liam, Breda, Grace and Diane are all preparing to take their revenge.
As Mercedes dances away, someone takes the gun from where it’s been left on the bar, takes aim at Mercedes and pulls the trigger! Who has SHOT Mercedes and will she survive the close-range blast?
