Mandy sets Cindy Cunningham up on a date but Cindy is shocked to find Luke Morgan at the same venue on a date of his own!
Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn) is worried that her step-sister Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) is lonely and when Cindy confesses that she is, Mandy decides to set her up on date in Hollyoaks.
However things take an awkward turn when Cindy turns up at The Dog for her date, only to discover that Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) is also there on a date of his own.
As both their respective dates turn out to be a disaster it’s not long before Luke and Cindy decide to run out of the pub together and are soon getting cosy at The Loft before going back to Luke's bed!
Meanwhile Goldie McQueen (Chelsee Healey) is shocked when her priest boyfriend Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas Speed) reveals that her mum, Breda (Moya Brady) hit him over the head with a copy of the Bible.
A fuming Goldie wants to confront her mum and decides to track her down at the pig farm where Breda seems to have been spending a lot of her time recently!
But is Goldie about to stumble upon Breda’s prisoner Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) who the serial killer has been keeping locked up in a cage?
Elsewhere Courtney Campbell (Amy Conachan) and Jesse Donovan (Luke Jerdy) get into an argument over not getting married. Jesse has been struggling to know what to do for the best recently, but when his big brother Liam (Jude Monk McGowan) has a word with him, it makes him realise he wants to be with Courtney for the rest of his life and it’s not long before Jesse takes the plunge and asks Courtney to be his wife! Will she say yes?
Meanwhile Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) struggles when she finds herself suddenly forced to look after Liam’s baby, Iona. Mercedes feels terrible about the recent termination she secretly had and looking after Iona is a painful reminder. She opens up to Nana McQueen (Diane Langton) and tells her she doesn’t think she deserves Sylver’s love after what she’s done.
Her worried Nana, is the only one who knows that Mercedes had a termination and she urges her to be honest with Sylver and tell him the truth. Mercedes braces herself to come clean but when she goes to find Sylver, is she in for a shock of her own?
