Mitchell Deveraux gets lost in the moment and enjoys a romantic slow dance with Scott aka Anita Tinkle....
Mitchell Deveraux (Imran Adams) has been battling with his feelings for Scott Drinkwell’s alter ego, Anita Tinkle in Hollyoaks (see our TV Guide for full listings).
Mitchell, who’s in a relationship with Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) has fallen for Anita in a big way, but can’t handle the situation. As Mitchell and Cleo get ready to live together in their first flat, emotions run high when Anita and Nana McQueen (Diane Langton) organise a charity dance-off at The Dog.
When Cleo, who still has no idea that her boyfriend has fallen for Anita, encourages Mitchell to take to the dance floor for a smoochy slow song with Anita, the junior doctor finds himself in Anita’s arms.
As the two of them sway to the music it’s as if there’s no one else in the room as they share a tender moment however, as the song ends, it’s all to much for Mitchell who quickly bolts from the room as quickly as possible.
Elsewhere Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) is broke and desperate now that all her lies have surfaced, her husband Damon Kinsella (Jacob Roberts) is in prison for fraud and everyone knows that her ‘terminal illness’ was all a big, fat fake.
Walter Deveraux (Walter A Toussaint) has taken pity on the ostracised mum and offered to give her a trial working at Price Slice but tonight a cash-strapped Max is at breaking point. When her daughter Minnie’s coat breaks and she needs a new one, Maxine realises she can’t even afford to clothe her child properly. And things get even worse when she realises she won’t get paid for her Price Slice shifts until the end of the month.
Will a desperate Maxine be tempted to steal from the supermarket till?
Meanwhile Ollie Morgan (Aeadan Duckworth) who proposed to his girlfriend Brooke Hathaway (Talia Grant) in yesterday’s episode, is worried by pregnant Brooke’s recent behaviour.
It’s clear that Brooke is struggling with the thought of motherhood and is on a very different page to Ollie who is excited by the prospect of becoming a dad. Can the teens unite and work through their differences? Or are they heading for a split?
