Hollyoaks spoilers: SUICIDE SHOCK? Is James Nightingale about to take his own life?
After some more devastating news, lawyer James Nightingale feels he has nothing left to live for and prepares to plunge to his death...
James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) is overwhelmed with grief following the recent discovery of his boyfriend, Harry Thompson’s body in Hollyoaks on tonight at 6.30pm (see our TV Guide for full listings)
Sucked into a downward spiral of despair, the lawyer embarks on a reckless path of self-destruction and his mum Marnie (Lysette Anthony) is furious when she discovers he’s been getting drunk partying with a group of strangers who he brings back to the house.
She urges her son to stop drinking and to come to terms with everything that’s happened.
However things later take a dark turn when serial killer Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) overhears James having a conversation with Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher).
When James goes to the police station to ask if there’s any new information on Harry’s killer, things take a shock turn and Marnie is later horrified to see her son teetering on the top of the archway in the village.
As the rain lashes down, and Marnie and James’s son Romeo (Owen Warner) scream at him to get down, will a desolate James throw himself off and plunge to his death?
Elsewhere the teens in the village, Brooke Hathaway (Talia Grant), Olly Grant (Aedan Duckworth), Juliet Quinn (Niamh Blackshaw) and Imran Maalik (Ijaz Rana) are excited about going on their theme park trip. Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) has to remind Brooke that she won’t be able to go on a lot of the rides because she’s pregnant.
After hearing about their day-trip plans, Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) and Nancy (Jessica Fox) are concerned when they also discover Brooke has missed her twelve-week scan and decide they urgently need to get Ollie and Brooke to take Brooke’s pregnancy more seriously.
Plus Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) is distraught following the bombshell revelations that she has been faking her terminal illness all along. She comes up with a plan to try and pay the people she owes back after all the charity funds that were raised for her have been squandered. However she’s in a for a rude awakening when she makes a devastating discovery.
