It's the first day of Tom Cunningham's new business, Tom's Turtles. Will things go to plan?
It’s the start of the school summer holidays in Hollyoaks and entrepreneurial Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins) has come up with a summer project to keep the children busy: a holiday club called Tom’s Turtles.
Today is the first day of the official opening and Tom and his merry band of co-workers have carefully created a special children’s wonderland in The Folly.
Romeo Quinn (Owen Warner), Yazz Maalik (Haiesha Mistry) and Prince McQueen (Malique Thompson-Dywer) have offered their services to work alongside Tom with the kids and Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donell) is on board too.
As they begin welcoming their young charges, the teens are ready for what they think will be the easiest summer of their lives playing camp leaders and mucking about in the great outdoors.
Elsewhere Sylver McQueen (David Tag) is busy getting a BBQ ready at The Dog and his wife Mercedes and her gran Nana, are happy to ogle him as he sets to work showing off his muscly torso with his top off.
Meanwhile, Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) is convinced the twins she recently spotted while checking out Maxine’s wedding venue, are her kidnapped children Sebastian and Sophie.
She has been busy cooking up a plan to get the children back and meets up with their au pair, Nina, to return her phone, but while she’s there Sienna secretly seizes the opportunity to steal the twins’ passports.
She then tells the children that on Maxine’s wedding day she’s going to take them back and they can live with her. Is Sienna making a huge mistake?
Plus the fallout continues between Harry Thompson (Parry Glasspool) and James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) following recent events which have now spurred Harry into making a BIG decision.
Meanwhile Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) and Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) continue to play with fire as they once again end up together and kissing passionately.
But is Mercedes’ husband Sylver about to walk in on them and discover exactly what’s been going on behind his back?
Hollyoaks is shown weekdays on C4 at 6.30pm with the next episode following on E4
