With so many enemies capable of pulling the trigger, the big question is, who was it who took aim with the gun?

Diane Hutchinson

Was it Diane Hutchinson who pulled the trigger

Could it be Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher), who was appalled to discover that Mercedes had framed her step-son, Harry for the tragic car smash, could it be Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas Speed), who found Mercedes’ confession and was later beaten up when he confronted her and threatened to go to the police. Could it be serial killer Breda who has decided Mercedes needs to pay for all her sins? Lawyer James, who is still grieving for his murdered boyfriend Harry and blames Mercedes for her part in his tragic death?

Sylver McQueen

Did Sylver shoot his own wife?

Was betrayed husband Sylver the one to take aim after discovering that Mercedes has been sleeping with Liam behind his back? Or could it be Liam himself who has been stitched up by Mercedes and recently found out she aborted what may have been his baby?

Did Grace Black shoot Mercedes

Did Grace Black shoot Mercedes?

And what about Grace, who finally found out it was Mercedes who left her for dead by the side of the road?

As Mercedes lies in a pool of blood in The Loft will she pull through?
