Declan Donnelly’s Down Under with a new co-host and a starry line-up for I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Snakes, bugs and terrified stars can only mean one thing: it’s the return of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

With Ant taking time out from hosting this year’s show, Dec needs a new sidekick and help is at hand in the shape of This Morning host Holly Willoughby.

Among the 10 famous faces rumoured to be braving hunger, boredom and Bushtucker Trials this time round are Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway, former football manager Harry Redknapp, ex-Corrie actor Shayne Ward and The Chase’s ‘Governess’ Anne Hegerty.

Also catch up with former Celebrity campers Jennie McAlpine, Stanley Johnson, Shappi Khorsandi and Iain Lee on The Chase: Celebrity Special also on Sunday (ITV, 7pm).

Here Holly, 37, reveals how she’s feeling about joining the show, her dream campmate, and what she’s dreading about life in the jungle…

What are you most excited about?

I’m looking forward to seeing how the show works, having been a fan for so long. I think that will be really fun and exciting. Aside from the telly side of it, I’m also excited about to taking the kids to Australia [Holly will be there with her TV producer husband, Dan Baldwin, and their three children Harry, Belle and Chester], and just having that real outdoor living experience, going to the beach and saying goodbye to this cold weather!

As a fan of I’m a Celebrity…, what do you like most about the show?

I like seeing how the celebrities change. They all go in, like me, with a certain amount of fear but, by the end of it, they seem to turn into these jungle warriors. At the start, nobody wants to do a Bushtucker Trial, but towards the end they all want to do one! I love watching that change as they start relishing jungle life.

What is your least favourite Bushtucker Trial?

The eating one, I could never do it! I would come out with zero stars. I’d be useless during the eating trial – I don’t even like it if someone eats with their mouth open!
