Joe Tate jumps into water at the bottom of a quarry and fails to resurface
Noah Dingle wants to get to know Joe Tate and, through his half-brother, to get to know their dad. But when Noah suggests they visit local spots where Joe (Ned Porteous) and their late father spent time together he's left hanging when Joe hesitates. Embarrassed, Noah races off on his bike with Joe in hot pursuit.
At the edge of a quarry the brothers come to a stop. A conversation starts up which gets emotional as buried feelings are shared. Noah then dares Joe to jump into the water and is gobsmacked when his brother does! But Joe fails to resurface from the plunge…
Elsewhere, Belle is being plagued by the voices in her head and is struggling to hide her problem.
