Kim is desperately thinking of a way to break the news to Rachel about Kit's baby and decides to tell Kit he doesn't want to be part of the baby's life. However, the next morning Rachel sees Kit and Beth on the beach and realises Kit is pregnant. Rachel rushes home to tell Kim, but when she sees his anxious response, she suddenly realises Kit is having Kim's baby. Emotional, Rachel insists that Kim get involved with his baby and the pair visit Kit. Meanwhile, there's a moment of panic inside the operating theatre as Sally's monitor flatlines, but everyone is relieved when her heart starts beating again. Rachel emerges from the theatre to break the news that Sally is still unconscious and may never wake up. Over at the police station, Peter is questioning Johnny about his involvement in Sally's attack but he keeps quiet. But when Rocco turns up, Johnny tears into him for not finishing her off. Rocco arrives at the hospital and is shocked to see Sally hooked up to all the machines. Aware of Johnny's threats to finish the job, Rocco realises he has no choice but to go through with it, and tells Sally he's sorry before reaching to turn her ventilator off, but he’s stopped when Sally begins to wake up. *Screened on RTE One, Thursday April 5*
