Beth introduces Kirk to her mum Nancy, sister Arlene and gran Agnes, but they are underwhelmed. Having already mistaken Jason for her husband-to-be, the three women are disappointd that Beth isn't engaged to the hunky builder!
Callum lures Max to the Red Rec as a worried David calls the police, even though he suspects Callum may have taken his son. As David, Nick, Audrey, Gail and Michael panic, Callum strolls down the street with Max in tow. Casting a menacing look at David, Callum tells him to meet him in the Rovers as they need to talk. Callum warns David never to involve the police again and admits he's got no idea where Kylie is!
Michelle catches up with Hamish but she bottles it. However, when Steve's unapologetic for leaving Andrea and Eileen to sort out his mess at Streetcars, Michelle's had enough and phones Hamish, asking him out for a drink. Hoping to make Steve jealous, Michelle tells him about her date, but he's nonplussed.
Maria breaks the news to Luke that she won't be taking him to the wedding as she wants to take things slowly.
