Liz gets the guilts for cheating

Liz is full of the joys of spring and Harry is also in a good mood, but he continues to insist to Dan that he and Liz are just mates. Dan is sceptical, especially when he discovers that Liz is going round to the flat again later. In the Rovers, Dan 'lets slip' to Steve that Harry and Liz had dinner last night and are getting cosy in the flat. Steve is outraged and storms round to the flat to have it out with Liz. Tyrone is sad when the builders arrive and start to remove the blue and yellow stone cladding, but Jack and Molly are happy to see the back of it. The builders reveal that the bricks are in such a bad state it would be cheaper to put the stone cladding back on and it looks as though Tyrone has got his way after all! Claire is still irritated about the reduction in the valuation of their house and she goes through the Websters' fixtures and fittings list with a fine-toothed comb. Sally smells a rat when Claire asks if she can come round to clarify a few points and starts crossing items off the list. Also, Paul realises that he is not welcome in Weatherfield. *Second episode, 8.30pm* Liz is furious with Steve for interfering in her business, but he's not fooled when she protests her innocence. However, she is keen to prove that she's not cheating on Vernon and even heads off to have one of her wedding photos enlarged. Later, she tells Harry that she wants to cool things off a bit and, with Clarissa starting to cause him more problems, Harry agrees. Ashley and Kevin despair over the behaviour of their wives as the bickering over the house swap continues. Both men agree to keep the women apart to try and get things moving. But despite their best efforts it looks as though neither Sally nor Claire will back down and the two women end up in a full-scale slanging match! Paul is brooding over his future and Molly is worried when he says he may not turn up for his trial. Molly tells him that he should warn Jack if he intends to run away, but Paul swears her to secrecy and starts checking out possible flights. Also, Leanne is bored at the bookies and gets herself another part-time job selling the new flats; Deirdre wants a new bathroom suite and asks Roger to cost up the work.
