As Maria rows with Carla again she points out that now Frank's buying into the business it feels like he's got off scott-free for what what he did. When she then bumps into Frank on the street he's charm personified, but Maria can't take any more. Struggling to cope she confides in boyfriend Chris, who is convinced Frank's taking advantage. Sally's suspicious of Kevin's motives. As he prepares for the legal hearing he hopes it will drag out the divorce giving him time to save his marriage. Outside court he insists he doesn't want it to get acrimonious, but as proceedings get underway it's not long till the mud-slinging begins. Fiz buries her head in the sand. Katy's desperate to keep her pregnancy a secret, but when Fiz quizzes Ches about life with Katy, he struggles to keep it to himself. Meanwhile, the solicitor managing Joy's estate tries to call Fiz, and she wonders whether he's on to her for fraud. Also, Anna's gobsmacked when Eddie reveals Len has contacted him and offered him a job in Germany; Roy's surprised when Sylvia reveals she's living in a home. *Second episode, 8.30pm* A furious Chris wants Frank charged. As he and Maria argue about Frank, Chris wants him to get what he deserves, and urges a reluctant maria to call the police. Ashamed, she can't bring herself to do it. But when Carla arrives at the flat telling Maria it's about time she accepted Frank's apology, she's almost pushed to make the call. Sally is gobsmacked by the judge's verdict and storms out of court. But back on the street Kevin's feeling down despite his win and stuns Sally with a shocking gesture. It may be that Sally is beginning to thaw towards her estranged ex. Dr Carter's circumspect when John insists he's ready to come off his meds and John feels frustrated. Back home he lies to Fiz saying that he can come off them soon, but when he opens a bill he's on edge. Worried, Fiz resorts to desperate measures to protect John from the truth. Also, Anna and Eddie row about a potential move to Germany; driving Sylvia home Hayley's stunned to discover the state of her digs, but Roy's even more shocked. An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
