There's chaos at Mulberry when Ashley's left at home without proper care…
Laurel’s in a fix and is relieved when her stepdaughter Gabby offers to babysit Dotty. But while the busy mum rushes out, disaster strikes back at home, when Ashley’s carer Will calls in sick. With Gabby left looking after her baby sister and her dad, who has dementia, things soon go horribly wrong as the teen fails to cope.
Pollard comes across Ashley, who’s wandering around the village and brings him home to Laurel. After cross words with Gabby, Laurel and her stepdaughter share their upset over poor Ashley’s deteriorating health.
When Chas hears DS Wise is backing down from the plan they made, she gives Paddy both barrels having realised his loose lips have ruined everything.
Aaron tells Robert he has a date for his hearing and learns his fiance plans to stand by him – no matter what.
