Paul Hollywood fronts this five-part series looking at a nation through its cars

Paul Hollywood on cars. It's not as crazy as it sounds – he's a man of a certain age, 'a sort of a baker and part-time racing driver', he says, in the intro to this five-part series looking at a nation through its cars.

Italy is first up and, as Paul drives one fab vehicle after another, he is red-needling with excitement.

Bruno Tonioli even pops up at one point to help Paul steer a Lamborghini Huracán Spyder around Rome's scary roads. Next week, Jeremy Clarkson bakes a croquembouche. Not really –Paul's off to Germany.
