Denise Gough and Tom Hughes lead the cast in a dark three-part thriller

A chemistry teacher finds her life spinning totally out of control in this dark three-part drama.

Life is pretty chaotic for Paula Denny (Denise Gough, Apple Tree Yard): she's involved with a married man, her brother is living in a garage, she likes a whiskey and is generally a bit bored.

Then an even more complicated and chaotic man comes into her life and events start to get very dark.

There's a supernatural element in this first episode, which we weren't sure what to make of, but it certainly adds to the uneasy and uncomfortable feeling that runs throughout.

It's not an easy watch, but it is intriguing with a great cast and performances.
