Keanu Taylor’s job is in jeopardy, Halfway Highway makes a confession to Whitney Carter and Phil Mitchell feels guilty about Kim Hubbard.

Phil Mitchell is furious that Max Branning is back in the Square and he tries to bribe him to leave. Max makes it clear he’s not interested in his money and is determined to make a go of the car lot. When the Arches’ awkward customer, Henry, confronts Phil about what happened with Sharon, Phil wants the truth. He is left angered by Sharon’s actions. Keanu is also in trouble with him as he’s messed up the books while he was away. He tells a shocked Keanu that he’s got just one day to prove his worth at the Arches or he’s out on his ear. Can Sharon and Keanu get back in Phil’s good books?

Whitney has given Halfway a bit of space, but when she tries to get cosy with him a second time and he’s stand offish with her again, she realises he’s hiding something. Whitney demands to know what’s going on and Halfway finally confesses the truth. Although he’s only given her part of the explanation. When she finds out everything she is shocked…

Kim tries to put on a brave face about losing her hubby Vincent and Phil feels guilty. He hands Kim some cash, claiming it’s from the car he bought from Vincent. A suspicious Kim is sure that Phil knows more than he’s letting on.
