Sam finds a body in the woods!
What's it all about, Alfie? That's Alfie the Dingle dog. The mutt's enjoying a romp in the woods at Home Farm and is on the scent of something very interesting. He just needs to do a bit of digging to uncover the source of an irresistible smell and - whoa! Sam catches up with the excited Alfie and is hit by the whiff of something that stinks. When he pulls Alfie away and looks closer, Sam realises the dog has dug up a body - a human body. Time to call the police before someone comes along and blames Sam for the mess... Someone like Nathan, who exits the woods carrying a shovel. So, if Alfie has dug up a body, what has Nathan been digging? His own grave, perhaps... Talking of discoveries... Marlon has to tell the Dingle clan that Shadrach has shuffled off out of their lives, not to be seen again. Gosh, life without Shadrach. What will it be like? Cleaner, less expensive, cleaner... Diane's also planning to disappear, although not as permanently as Shadrach. She decides she needs a holiday after all she's been through. It's nice in France at this time of year...
