Showing in tribute to Marni Nixon, who died last month, this documentary (first shown in 2013) looks at the 'ghost singers' who provided the singing voices for stars in movie musicals.

Marni herself sang the lead in some of the most successful, including My Fair Lady, West Side Story and The King and I, but her performances, like those of many ghost singers, were often uncredited.

With contributions from Rita Moreno, Meryl Streep and Oliver! actor Mark Lester, this goes some way to redressing the balance.
