Steph relishes her role as weather reporter for the student TV channel as Kris prepares for the live show. Despite storming off set after an argument with Zoe, Steph returns to give the performance of a lifetime. But everything goes wrong when Steph has an epileptic fit. Jacqui rages over Tony's decision to let Tina keep baby Max, despite him trying to make her see that the tot is better off with Tina. Jacqui storms round to the McQueens where she comes close to revealing the truth about Russ, but she is unable to crush Tony's dream. Back at the flat, Jacqui breaks down before packing her bags and heading home to the McQueens. Tony is stunned at Jacqui's decision and fears he and Jacqui are over… Nancy feels awkward as she wakes up with Ravi, not knowing what last night meant. They head for a drink at The Dog where Nancy is lumbered with Charlie for the day and Ravi's not sure how to react. Misreading each other, Nancy thinks Ravi doesn't want to hang around a baby and he thinks she doesn't want him around - so they part company.
