Loose Women panellist Linda Robson has revealed she will be reunited with Lesley Joseph and Pauline Quirke for a one-off Birds of a Feather Christmas special this year.

Birds of a Feather is set to return to our screens this year in a one-off Christmas special.

Linda Robson broke the news this afternoon on the Loose Women panel.

Linda chose not to reveal too many details about the show, but she did say the script is "really good" and that filming would start in October.

Last year's Christmas special saw comedy trio Linda, Lesley Joseph and Pauline Quirke flying out to Morocco in search of Tracey's son Travis, who was missing on his gap year.

The show saw the Birds going abroad for the first time in 18 years, but Linda revealed this year's Christmas special will be set in the UK.

Fellow Loose Women panellists  Stacey Solomon, Andrea McLean and Saira Khan reacted to the news with excitement.

Andrea said: "That really is great news."

Birds of a Feather was originally broadcast on BBC1 from 1989 to 1998. The show was then revived on ITV in 2014.

The Birds of a Feather Christmas special will be broadcast on ITV over the Christmas period.
