Emmerdale reveals the identity of Harriet Finch's stalker - did you guess who it was?

Harriet Finch Harriet is frightened in Emmerdale

The truth is finally out! We caught up with actor Dean Andrews, who plays newcomer Will, the troubled ex of Harriet Finch...

Emmerdale has finally revealed the identity of the mysterious hooded figure behind the terrifying attacks against Harriet Finch, and it's none other than her ex and Dawn's dad, Will.

Soap fans have seen Harriet tormented over the last few weeks, starting with a vicious attack in broad daylight, followed by sinister red paint being thrown over the church.

This week has seen Harriet left terrified after she was locked in the church by the mysterious figure... only for her to be rescued at the last moment by her knight in shining armour - Cain Dingle.

Harriet was brutally attacked in broad daylight a few weeks ago...

But tonight's Emmerdale revealed the identity of Harriet's stalker as her ex, Will, the drug baron who she got sent to jail while working as an undercover police officer.

While Dawn might have protested her innocence as everyone pointed the finger of suspicion at her over recent weeks, it seems she does have a connection to the scary goings on that Harriet has been subjected to after all.

Ever since Dawn arrived in the village Harriet has been trying to make up for the fact she was the reason Will got sent to jail and Dawn ended up in care. But while Harriet and Dawn might have started to build bridges, it seems Will is out for revenge.

We caught up with Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes legend, Dean Andrews, to find out what it is like to be part the Emmerdale cast: "I'm very excited still, I have always wanted to be part of Emmerdale.

"It is one of those shows that has been around for as long as I can remember and always had great storylines. I have always wanted to be part of it being a Yorkshire lad."

While it was announced a few months ago that Dean had landed a role in Emmerdale, it was kept under wraps who he would be playing...

"The hardest thing has been keeping it quiet, everyone has wanted to know about Emmerdale," he reveals.

"It is the most attention I have ever had. I'm glad the cat is out of the bag and it will be good to explore the character a little more."

"He has just come out of prison, he is quite a hard man, he was a drugs baron back in the day and part of organised crime, he was put in jail by Harriet," explains Dean.

"She helped put him away and he has a lot of anger for that. He has reunited with his daughter and he holds a lot of guilt for not bring there for her. There are a lot of emotions going on with him."

Find out what happens next for Harriet as her drama continues this week.
