There's life and death drama heading for Ramsay Street in today's Neighbours...
Toady's Neighbours sees Kyle Canning take a deadly plunge from the top of some scaffolding... but will he survive to tell the tale?
Ever since he returned to Ramsay Street earlier this year, Kyle has been fighting his feelings for ex Amy Williams.
But it's not just the fact that he broke her heart before leaving Erinsborough a few years back that is stopping Kyle from acting on his feelings, there is also the small matter that Amy is now engaged to his dad, Gary Canning...
As Kyle and Gary work together restoring Karl Kennedy's tram, the pair have been butting heads over Amy for weeks.
But today sees the pair start to finally get along as they work together in harmony at last... only for tragedy to strike.
At the start of the episode Gary continues to feel out of his depth at the building site and is annoyed he needs to rely on his son to give him tips of working in construction.
But while Gary is focused on the fact his son has got the hots for his fiancee, Kyle is determined to get the job done properly and tells Gary that he needs to wear a high viz jacket and a hard hat now they have scaffolding on site.
Gary is reluctant to wear it, but eventually gives in and actually listens when Kyle offers him some tips in getting the scaffolding put up.

But just when it looks like the pair are finally getting along, Kyle climbs to the top of the rigging that Gary has put up just as a bracket gives way and the whole thing collapses.
Gary, Amy and Sheila are forced to helplessly watch on as the scaffolding comes crashing to the ground, taking Kyle with him.
But even though he was wearing a hard hat, will Kyle survive his deadly plunge?
And if he is hurt... surely only Gary is to blame?
