Mark Strepan and Ben Tavassoli play a pair of young investigators taking on some of the world's most powerful corporations and criminals in new BBC crime drama New Blood.
The young actors aren't new to television, but were excited to land leading roles in a primetime BBC drama, written by Foyle's War creator Anthony Horowitz, and admitted that working with such well-known actors as Anna Chancellor (Four Weddings and a Funeral) and Mark Addy (Game of Thrones) was a massive bonus.
"I worked quite closely with Anna and Ben worked quite closely with Mark," said Mark. "I think we were both nervous, but our characters have got a lot about them and a lot of attitude, so you can use a lot of that."
It wasn't an easy shoot for Mark and Ben – they had undergo a variety of thrilling but dangerous stunts to capture the high-adrenalin action.
"We got to jump from a rooftop into a pool, which was fun," said Ben. "But there was one scene where I was hanging upside down in a car for a duration of time which I felt was beyond the threshold of being safe. We had a paramedic on there who said everything was fine. Luckily I had oxygen while I was up there!"
