Steve Jones has stormed off the set of Piers Morgan's talk show. According to reports, the US X Factor host, who has dated Pamela Anderson, Halle Berry and Hayden Panettiere, got irritated when asked about his reputation as a ladies' man. He later admitted on Twitter: "For the record I'm not ashamed to admit I stormed off Piers Morgan tonight. His line of questing was highly offensive. You judge this Friday." The walk-off sparked speculation of a publicity stunt, and Piers caused more confusion when he tweeted that he 'had him thrown off my set yesterday for lewd conduct'. The incident came after Steve was spotted buying a packet of condoms before heading out on a date with glamour model Keeley Hazell. He was seen collecting Keeley from the home she is renting in LA, before whisking her off to the Beverly Hills' Four Seasons Hotel for the afternoon. Steve's appearance in the first episode of the US X Factor did not go down well with many US critics. One wrote that his role was 'irrelevant' while another said he was 'so far in the background, he might as well be on another network'. SUBSCRIBE to TV Times magazine NOW and you could save up to 29%
