Tamzin Outhwaite goes raving on London stage

Tamzin Outhwaite is to join Peep Show’s Robert Webb and Miranda actress Sarah Hadland in a London production of the play Raving.

"It’s about three couples who go on a weekend break to a cottage in Wales," explains Robert. "There’s a couple who have just had a baby, and Tamzin Outhwaite’s character Briony is incredibly paranoid and neurotic. There’s lots of new-parent panic and sleep deprivation, and everything’s falling apart. Sarah and I play a couple who Briony sees as perfect parents, when actually I am a shocking liar and a cad. It’s very funny."

Last week Tamzin and husband, Miranda actor Tom Ellis announced they were separating.

Raving plays at London’s Hampstead Theatre from 24 October to 23 November.
