After four weeks of blind auditions the The Voice Kids contestants are preparing to go head-to-head in the Battle Rounds.

Pint-sized contestants on The Voice Kids will go head-to-head this weekend in the show's Battle Rounds.

After four weeks of blind auditions 36 children have been chosen by mentors Pixie Lott, will.i.am and Danny Jones - and things are about to get more serious.

On the regular series of The Voice UK, the Battle Rounds see two singers from the same team going head-to-head and duetting, with only one of them selected to stay on the show by their coach.

However, on The Voice Kids there will be three young singers all performing at the same time - and just one contestant will be chosen to go through to the semi final.

The Battle Rounds will see Pixie's first team - Riccardo, Tabi and Erin C - singing Judy Garland's classic Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

Preview footage shows Pixie in tears as her team wow her with their rendition of the 1939 song, which was composed for The Wizard of Oz.

Pixie's other team, Miriam, Zena and Jess F, will sing Little Mix track Little Me.

Team Danny, which is made up of Jude, Tilly and Jack, will perform Reef's Place Your Hands.

And Team Will, which includes Cole, Perry and Lil T, will sing Madcon's Beggin.

The Voice Kids is on ITV1 tonight at 7:30pm.
