Tom Daley posts picture of engagement rings on Instagram

Former Splash! frontman Tom Daley has shown off his and partner Dustin Lance Black’s new engagement rings in an Instagram shot.

The Olympic bronze medal-winning diver announced his engagement to the filmmaker in The Times’ Birth, Marriages and Deaths section on Thursday.

In the snap, posted on Friday morning, the pair’s silver engagement rings were placed artfully on top of the newspaper announcement.

It read: “The engagement is announced between Tom, son of Robert and Debra Daley of Plymouth, and Lance, son of Jeff Bisch of Philadelphia and Anne Bisch of Lake Providence.”

Tom, 21, has dated Lance, 20 years his senior, for nearly two years, and came out as gay in a YouTube video in December 2013.
