Welcome to Wrexham season 2, Disney Plus
Series one followed non-league Wrexham AFC under the new ownership of Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Having snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by losing the FA Trophy final and a playoff semi-final, it’s crunch time for the Red Dragons as the 2022-23 season opens. This series again shines a spotlight on the whole community, from autistic superfan Millie Tipping to prison officer and women’s team star striker Rosie Hughes. This week, royalty of a different kind arrives at the Racecourse Ground as King Charles and Queen Camilla pay a visit. Will Rob and Ryan’s etiquette be up to scratch?

Playing against Pelé is quite a claim to fame in the world of football and lining up against the great man as a teenager for West Ham was the highlight of Peter Grotier’s career as a journeyman goalkeeper. The autographed programme from that memorable night is, understandably, one of Peter’s most prized possessions and he’s desperate to hand it down to his grandson as a family heirloom, yet a series of house moves mean it’s now more fragile than a pub team’s defence. Paintings and paper conservator Angelina Bakalarou believes she can save the day, but watching her work is quite nerve-racking!

The Morning Show season 3, Apple TV Plus
Changes are afoot for brilliant broadcasters Bradley (Reese Witherspoon) and Alex (Jennifer Aniston) in the third run of the award-winning newsroom drama. While the duo have expanded their remit at the UBA network, they’re still feeling restricted and are keen to have more power. But scheming exec Cory (Billy Crudup) is more occupied with trying to shore up the channel’s fortunes by securing a lucrative deal with tech billionaire Paul Marks (Jon Hamm), who is about to launch a new space rocket, on which Alex is due to join the maiden voyage... Also look out for Stephen Fry as a UBA board member. Two episodes are available today, then the series will air weekly.

The city is in the grip of famine and on the brink of rebellion, yet plots are also being hatched within her own family
in tonight’s intriguing opener.

Ashley Walters and Kano return as Dushane and Sully, with the action in this final series of the British gangland drama picking up shortly after Sully shot Jamie at the end of the last season, so there’s a huge fallout. Everything they’ve built comes under threat from forces outside and within their empire. Top Irish actors Barry Keoghan and Brian Gleeson join the cast as new characters Jonny and Tadgh.
