A 21-year-old from Scotland was among those making their mark on The The X Factor on Saturday night as auditions moved north of the border. Jade Alexis Richards wowed the panel when she took to the stage in Glasgow, reducing them to tears with her moving rendition of Adele's Someone Like You. And in doing so, she received some of the biggest praise so far this series. Tulisa summed up the feelings of the panel when she said she had never heard anyone sing "like they mean it so much. While you were singing I felt your whole life story through your voice," she added. Louis agreed, saying "You deserve a break because you've got talent!", while Kelly Rowland called the auditioon "beautiful" and Gary Barlow said, "That performance is going to chance your life." Jade's audition was just one of the highlights in a week in which many of this year's talented younger performers took centre stage. Standouts included 16-year-old Luke Lucas - who confessed to having a crush on Tulisa before his audition at London's O2 Arena. And luckily for him, she approved of his performance of Michael Jackson's Who's Loving You, calling him "absolutely adorable". Fellow teens Lemuel Knights, Max Mackay and Lizzie Colborne also made it through to bootcamp. It wasn't a bad week for older performers either, in particular 42-year-old David Wilder - who delivered a flamboyant performance of David Bowie's Life On Mars in which he sang to the judges and ran into the audience. "I don't know what's going on but I actually really enjoyed that," Tulisa told the long-haired rocker afterwards, while Kelly added, "I think all of us should want to be a little bit more like David Wilder." But not everybody was quite so lucky. Michael Lewis - who came a cropper with his Michael Jackson impersonation at the 2010 auditions once again failed to impress the panel when he sang Geri Halliwell's Look At Me, and did himself no favours by lying down on the stage and refusing to leave. "This is my stage, I belong on my stage, what part of that can you not understand?" he asked before Gary walked up and personally asked him to leave. And girl band Angel not only failed to secure a place in bootcamp following their out of tune rendition of Willow Smith's Whip My Hair but also incurred the wrath of Kelly after being rude to Tulisa. When the N-Dubz singer suggested that they had used dance moves to "cover up the fact that none of you could sing" band member Vanessa quipped, "that's a bit rich coming from you." A shocked Kelly retorted, "I understand that you have an opinion but at the same time, you came here for us to judge you and there was no reason for you to come back like that. "I can tell that these two don’t appreciate the fact that you did that," she added, "because what if you just messed up their chances for an opportunity, they are the group!"
