Tulisa Contostavlos has been battling to overcome her nerves in her new X Factor job. The N-Dubz star said of her judging role: "I'm really trying to enjoy it and be myself. "I'm trying to let go of my nerves. It was scary initially. It's a lot of pressure." Speaking at the Glamour Women Of the Year Awards, she said: "It's the most famous TV show in the country, but I'm now feeling relaxed." The singer, who has joined the judging panel with Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowland, said of former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole: "She sent me flowers which was a really nice gesture." Host James Corden made light of Cheryl's departure from the US X Factor in front of the star-studded audience. Introducing X Factor host Dermot O'Leary on to the stage, he joked: "I asked Dermot about the sacking of Cheryl Cole. "He said 'I can't understand it'. I said 'I know she's difficult to understand, but don't call her it.'" Dermot said afterwards of Cheryl: "I've been in touch with her a little bit. She's cool. She's a strong woman." The X Factor host gave Davina McCall an award for presenter of the year and said she was a role model in a 'strangely sexist industry' that 'doesn't let women anchor enough'.
