Big Brother: Housemates fail fish task

The Big Brother housemates have failed their latest task, which involved playing a very fishy game of sardines. The task saw the housemates putting on fish costumes and lying side by side in a giant can, full of brine and fish guts until instructed to leave by Big Brother. No more than two people were allowed to quit the can before the end of the task, while sleeping, lying on top of each other or getting out of the can were all banned. However, the housemates - who were given no indication of how long they would be expected to spend there - lasted only an hour and 26 minutes in the can before quitting, despite trying to keep their spirits up with songs and cheering. Big Brother later informed them they would have had to spend four hours and 20 minutes in the can to successfully complete the task. As a result, they will receive only a basic shopping budget this week instead of the luxury one they stood to win for completing the challenge successfully.
