Celebrity Big Brother's Courtney Stodden splits from husband

Celebrity Big Brother starlet Courtney Stodden has split from her husband, actor Doug Hutchison, after two years of marriage.

The 19-year-old achieved notoriety in the US when she wed the 51-year-old Green Mile star when she was just 16.

However US tabloids have now reported that the unlikely union is over, with sources saying Doug has been left 'heartbroken'.

"He is absolutely devastated," an insider told the Mirror.

"While she was in the UK cracks started to appear and many saw the writing on the wall then. She was not happy and wanted out."

Courtney originally entered the Celebrity Big Brother house as an outsider to win the show, quickly becoming the bookies' favourite for the first eviction.

However she quickly endeared herself to viewers, eventually reaching the semi-final of the series.

She also struck up a close friendship with TV personality Lauren Harries during her time in the house, with reports the pair are set to star in a reality series together.
