If revenge is a dish best served cold, Liz McDonald's strategy is straight out of a butcher's cool store as she gets back at ex boyfriend Tony in Coronation Street (opens in new tab).
It starts with Liz's new fella Dan, the brewery man, teaming up with Carla at a poker night in the Rovers and wiping the floor with Tony and later Liz thumbs her nose at Tony as she goes out to dinner on the proceeds.
But Liz moves things up a gear when she learns of a new delivery of stolen goods to Barlow's Buys. It goes against her nature, but Tony has pushed her so far that she reaches for the phone and calls the police...
