This compelling drama gets even more intriguing in tonight's episode as Hayley's ex, Shay Nash (Joe Absolom), appears a lot more.

He obviously wants to rekindle his romance with Hayley, and literally snarls whenever he sees old enemy Nancy. Joe plays the role fantastically well, delivering a really chilling performance of a deeply disturbed man.

At the police station Nancy and Kevin are convinced that it’s fellow officer Gunner who is the leak inside the team when more vital evidence goes missing.

He’s certainly acting strange – and why is he so interested in Nancy’s drunken, violent dad?

There are a couple of great plot surprises throughout, and the episode ends on a brilliant cliffhanger.
