Ashley tells Laurel he needs to face his future alone

So Ashley’s now told Laurel he’s been diagnosed with dementia, and the pair are heartbroken. As the vicar fleshes out the details of his prognosis, he tells Laurel he must face the disease alone no matter how much he loves her. But Laurel wants to be there for her ex and tells Doug she’ll do anything to help Ashley. But her dad warns her to think carefully about what that will mean.
