Will Ferrell and Jon Heder make an unlikely hit double act as bitter ice-skating rivals

Will Ferrell and Jon Heder make an unlikely hit double act as bitter ice-skating rivals. Banned for life after a bout of fisticuffs, they make a spectacular comeback in Montreal by exploiting a loophole in the rules enabling them to become the first same gender figure skating pair. It's basically a one-joke comedy, but it is a good joke. Heder is a really funny and sweet comedian, making the equally funny but sour comic Ferrell get his skates on to keep up. The entire movie is just an excuse to get them to dress up in silly outfits and crash and crunch into each other on the ice, but it's none the worse for that. Their knockabout set piece dancing sequences are hilarious and some of the positions they find themselves defy description.
